DXPLED with Artist Series LEDs incorporate the first constant voltage, linear light source good enough to be called Artist Series. A linear LED solution designed for cove, display case, under-cabinet, and other low-density linear applications.
DXPLED with Artist Series LEDs is designed to match the lit effect of other Artist Series products such as EXLED Clamp Spotlights and COB LED Downlights while meeting the industry’s highest standards for color quality, initial color consistency, color and lumen maintenance, and color and lumen consistency along its full length.
DXPLED with Artist Series LEDs is manufactured and supplied with a long-term warranty on both output and color consistency, creating a strong case for lowest total cost of ownership and smallest ecological footprint, while insuring consistent lighting design quality for the life of the installation.
DXPLED with Artist Series LEDs are available in 2700K, 3000K, 3500K and 4000K CCT delivering typical CRI (Ra) of 97, with typical R9 of 96, and extremely high R values across all 15 CIE CRI samples. These values out perform not only other LED solutions, but also traditional metal halide or fluorescent lamps.
Understanding the Colour Rendering Index (CRI or Ra): Every type of lighting has its place on what's known as the color rendering index chart. This chart measures a scale from 0 to 100, depending on how accurately it can produce light that matches a naturally referenced light source, such as the sun. In general, LEDs at the higher end of the scale will produce a more accurate color rendering of the objects around it. This can be vital for use in things like photography or lighting used in a museum setting.
